Witty's panel lines are very subtle, and
much more realistic than Dragon's.
Okay, I've been hearing so much raving about Witty's Zero over at The Model Hangar that I finally grabbed one to see for myself -- and my forum
pals did not lead me astray. I can safely say that this Witty Zeke is now the best example of the aircraft in my hangar, knocking
Dragon's out of the
pole position. For starters, Witty's grey paint scheme is apparently more historically accurate than Dragon and Corgi's off-white and white schemes,
respectively, and Witty's gear doors actually fit flush with the wing... unlike Dragon's. The gear well paint looks a bit garish, but this is also true of
Franklin Mint's Zeros, so I wonder if it is indeed accurate (anyone?).  Witty's cockpit looks a bit small to me, too, whereas Dragon's looks a bit too
big -- go figure. When you get down to it, however, Witty's effort looks more realistic and true to scale overall.
 Recommended.
