This is the only Sun Star Air Command model I have. The company no longer makes models, but it put out an F-117, F-18, and F-16 before it
pulled the plug. Like Witty Wings models, these have fixed undercarts, mostly metal construction, and pad-printed graphics. No display stand is
included, and model does not have any working parts.
This is the only 1:72 Stealth, and it's really a very nice model overall. The graphics are crisp, the cockpit is painted, and it's solidly built. Look out,
however, for exposed screws in the belly (see rollover pic below left) as well as holes used for the clamps that hold the model in the packaging (like
FM does with its 1:48 line) and the panel lines are a bit too deeply engraved for my tastes. However, I snagged this for under $20 on sale and it's
well worth that price. Get 'em while you can...
