As I said on the GMP intro page, if I needed to limit myself to one model this would be THE ONE. The level of detail you get is unmatched with any
other scale or line that I've seen to date; it's got a very high metal content; a book on the 357th is included in the box; and a numbered nameplate is on
the bottom of the plane, and this denotes which of the 1,000 models produced you have. (Mine is #710.)
The moving parts and removable covers are very nice -- the amount of detail in the guns and ammo belts is very impressive -- and the model is very
sturdy. Plus, three different external ordnance options are included: two types of fuel tanks, and 500-lb bombs. My only complaints are that the nose
looks a bit too long, though I cannot confirm that; and the top engine cover can be hard to get to fit snugly due to a slight warp in the engine mount
underneath. Also, the model on the GMP site looks to have a chrome finish, whereas the actual production model has a matte silver finish similar to
Dragon's silver models.
Still, I can not say enough good things about this plane. NOTE: there is a second page of pics for thsi model. Highly Recommended!
