I've always been a fan of the Armour Collection's 1:48 Me-262. The overall profile looks right to me and the mold has one of the better
fit/finishes that I've seen in the line, and this model is no exception. I've been after it for a while, lurking on ebay and waiting for a good deal
and snagged it for a bit under $40 delivered -- not bad 'tal. I highly recommend this model for Armour fans, and 262 fans in general. One can
argue all day about the colors being right or wrong, depending on what evidence you support -- from this
color profile it does seem like
Dragon's 1:72 version may be the most accurate, I can't say. (Perhaps FM got a bit carried away with the brown...) However, I really like the
look of this model and the paint is well applied: all tampo printing on this example, too, which is FM re-release of the CDC original casting. One
note: this example has a bigger gap on the join line on the tail that is typcial of this casting, based on the number I've owned/seen.
