I paid about $120 delivered for my example, and for that $ I am happy with it overall (even given some of the additional blemishes noted in my
pictures that seem to be isolated to my model). I have always had a deep affinity for this airframe, and a fascination with the Battle of Midway, so
there is no way this model does not have a place in my collection. If the flaws noted so far sound like deal breakers to you, by all means stay
away from this release and wait for corrected repaint issues. If they sound acceptable to you, by all means pull the trigger and buy one -- I don't
think you will regret it.

Hobby Master 1:32 Air Power Series
HA0200 Douglas SBD-3, Wade McClusky, "Battle of Midway" 1942             Released: Feb, 2008
On to page 3!
In the rollover image to the
right I have circled two
issues: the drooping prop,
and what looks like a
blemish caused by excess
glue on the cowl. The prop
issue affects every model,
the glue blemish is
apparently  much more
rare of a problem that may
or may not be present on
another example.
The working divebrakes work well and look cool to me, though they do feel a
bit "flimsy" so take care adjusting them.
